Ron George founded Todd Productions in 1974. In the beginning the company
represented Ron's own show "Ron George And City Limits". At that time Ron
was performing throughout the Nevada Casino Lounge Circuit. From the very
beginning Todd Productions enjoyed tremendous success producing shows in
California, Nevada, and Hawaii.
Ron was one of the first Nevada Entertainers to add a "Tribute To Elvis"
segment as part of his variety show. From the success of that show Ron had
the opportunity and privilege of working with Elvis father Vernon Presley. After
Mr. Presley passed, Ron retired the Tribute Show from his act and continued
with a variety show format. Ron felt that working with Vernon Presley, while
performing a tribute to his son, was about as good as it gets, and has not
performed The Elvis Tribute since that time.
In the early nineties Todd Productions handled all of the events for a "Northern
California Landmark - "Nut Tree Restaurant Complex". Bob Powers, one of the
Nut Tree founders was quoted as saying , "That summer was their most
entertaining and successful season ever".
Today Ron still continues the tradition of "Bringing the best Show possible to
the stage". With a blend of the old and the new, Ron's show pays homage to
the entertainment greats. Bobbie Darin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis,
Ray Charles, Joe Cocker and many of the current artists including Michael
Buble, Mark Anthony, Santana, Alan Jackson, George Strait and the list
continues to grow.
